The Sunday before Christmas is always a special Sunday in the life of the church. It is when we usually host our nativity and carol service, to celebrate the incredible events of the first Christmas.
This year we wanted to do something a little different and so decided to host a special nativity celebration outside in the grounds of the church. We built a stable, sent out invites and were joined by a couple of lovely Shetland ponies. A crowd gathered, we sang some carols, re-told the story of God’s coming into our world and then warmed up inside with hot drinks and mince pies.
